I guess it's been a long time since I did little piggies on Trex (4) because after doing the little piggies on his toes one night, the next night he said, "Mommy, I want you to do 'This little pinky went to Target.'"

Dinner at my house

At the dinner table tonight, Cani (7) picked a fight with Pixie (9) over the brussels sprouts. Contrary to what might be expected, she wanted to fight over the fact that there weren't any left after Pixie took more than her share. Unable to make myself intervene, I looked aside only to see Trex (4) wolfing down his spaghetti squash. Haha. That's the kind of trouble we have... Not enough vegetables.

Blech la blah

Rbiker (7) and Trex (age 4) diligently eating their soup so that they can have some blech-la-blah as Trex says (translation: baklava) for dessert.

Trex (4): We're always late to preschool just like we're always late to gernastics

Me: On no. We don't want to be the late family. We want to be the early family.

Trex: What!?

Me: We want to be early.
